The 7-Day Reset
A Gentle Start to Choosing You Again
The first days after separation can feel unreal. Your mind may move between grief, urgency, anger, relief, panic, and numbness. This reset is not a demand to heal quickly. It is a quiet structure for returning to yourself.
Each day includes a short reflection, one grounding practice, one journal prompt, and one small act of self-respect.
The Seven Days
Day 1: Stabilize the Moment
Focus on what is true today. Eat something simple. Drink water. Write down what is urgent and what can wait.
Day 2: Reduce the Noise
Protect your mind from repeated checking, conflict loops, and unnecessary explanations. Create one small pocket of quiet.
Day 3: Tell the Truth Gently
Name what happened without minimizing it and without turning the truth into a weapon against yourself.
Day 4: Return to the Body
Notice where stress is living. Breathe, walk, stretch, rest, or choose one sensory practice that reminds your body it is here and safe enough for this moment.
Day 5: Reclaim a Boundary
Choose one limit that protects your energy, dignity, time, or emotional steadiness.
Day 6: Rebuild Self-Trust
Keep one small promise to yourself. Self-trust returns through evidence.
Day 7: Begin Again Gently
Write: I am allowed to rebuild slowly. Choose one next step for the coming week.

Beginning again does not require a dramatic reinvention. It may begin with an honest breath, a clean page, a quiet boundary, or the decision to stop abandoning yourself.
